JOIN US TO MAKE THE U.S.A
A BETTER, FAIRER, AND SAFER PLACE
FOR WORKING AMERICAN FAMILIES

This website has been created for Americans who know that great changes are needed if the republic is to survive the twenty first century. It's a site designed to help you make these changes. As such, it should be thoroughly read. The site speaks especially to young Americans, for it is your future and you should be making these important decisions, not those old men with their greedy habits and destructive values who deliberately and callously rob you of the future you should have, but never will—unless you make the changes—soon.

The Congress of the United States no longer represents the ordinary working citizens of the U.S., if during the past two hundred and twenty-two years it ever did. Today, the U.S. Congress is filled with corrupt, incompetent "opportunists" who attend to their own welfare and sell their votes to the corporate lobbyists offering the largest bribes. It's why there's always federal money available for the needs of profit, but only loud objections when it comes to the needs of people—and it seems the corporate leeches always have such objections.

It's time for the American people to wake up and take a good look at their country and the kind of people who have been leading (or ruling) it for the past two hundred plus years. We are—and have been since the ratification of our Constitution—a representative democracy and not a true democracy. Representative democracy is pseudo-democracy, but that's what we have, because our Founding Fathers were men of "privilege" and privileged people of all times and all places have feared true democracy for they devoutly believed that a true democracy and a quality education would give too much political power and knowledge to ordinary working Americans—, which of course, would mean that such a condition would affect the wealth and profit-making opportunities of the wealthy, elite minority.

But don't take our word for it, read the article Walter Karp wrote titled The Teachinng of History, published in the May, 1980 issue of Harpers Magazine. It tells you exactly how the privileged elite programmed the working people of the United States to believe that the U.S. is a true and wonderful democracy guided by idealistic and honest leaders. Actually, you should read anything of Mr. Karp's while his writings are still available to the public, and before they become inaccessible and invisible.

It means the class warfare that has been waged by wealthy Americans against working Americans since the first days of the republic has had dire consequences. One of which is that public education has been allowed to deteriorate and current generations of working-class Americans are ignorant. You're ignorant of the republic's true past, ignorant of why the present is as it is, ignorant of the differences between representative democracy and true democracy, ignorant of what true direct democracy is, and totally ignorant of the future your rulers are planning for you.

You're also ignorant of the relationship between change and human survival and if you, young Americans, don't seriously consider changing your political and economic systems soon, the American republic, as it has been known for most of the past two hundred and twenty-two years, will perish from the Earth during this century.

This site offers working American families the opportunity to transform the dream that brought millions of immigrants to the United States into reality—the dream of true freedom from oppression, and true fairness in life.

There is only one true democracy, and it is a bottom-to-top form of governance. It is a form in which individuals at the neighborhood level establish the values and make the laws of neighborhood and their country. "Representative" democracy, on the other hand, is the usual top-to-bottom form in which a comparatively few citizens at the top of the country's social ladder establish the values and make laws of the country. Every king, dictator, and tyrant has operated a top-to-bottom government. The two forms are not the same and the results of each can only be as different from one another as could possibly be. Nor are "conservative" democracies, "socialist" democracies, "liberal" democracies, or any other "adjectival" form of democracy valid democracies—they are all top-to-bottom forms and, therefore, they are all false.

Some of us, Americans, believe "enough is enough," and we have formed the American Institute of Direct Democracy. One of the Institute's functions is to inform you, the American citizen, why you have been forever told you live in a democracy— when you don't.
